"How To Live Before You Die"
A Message For Those Going Back Home or Moving On...
As April approaches and the start of a new school year, many English teachers may find themselves at a crossroads. Some move on to bigger and better things, some move on to well-earned vacations, some decide to go adventuring! Some decide to stay... Some have no clue perhaps... I think there is something for everyone in this video. This video is for all of you who have worked hard this year.
It was quite hard to decide on which or what kind of video to put on the front page this week. But, I guess everyone must already know who Steve Jobs is...
The once-and-again CEO of Apple, Steve Jobs has headed a few of the most iconic and if not some of the greatest products in technology, entertainment and design. But do you really know the story behind this man. I think you should and I hope this video will inspire you in your new endeavors wherever that may be.
About this Video:
This video was shot at Steve Job's Stanford University commencement speech. Steve Jobs, CEO and co-founder of Apple and Pixar, advises us to chase our dreams and see the opportunities in life’s setbacks — even including death itself.
Drawing from some of the most pivotal points in his life and including them in his speech, I'm sure we can all learn something from this wonderful video. Or, just check out the new i-pad.
You can also find a copy of Steve Job's speech in text here at the Stanford University website under the heading below:
'You've got to find what you love,' Jobs says. This is the text of the Commencement address by Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple Computer and of Pixar Animation Studios, delivered on June 12, 2005.
