Do you have any "Translation" issues?
If you are looking for some good translators I'm sure you can find at least one or two people around you who can translate a few words or sentences, but as the job gets bigger you may need to use something a little faster.
A message to all you ALTs out there if you are translating or trying to translate simple electronic messages such as email or very short word documents. Try a little copying and pasting to the following web page: http://www.excite.co.jp/world/
I cannot tell you how many times I have used this tool to send little messages to my Japanese teachers, but also I cannot tell you how often they have complained about it. Of course it is not perfect but they appreciate me trying to enlighten them with a quick translation. Well, it is a good tool even just for translating vocabulary one word at a time.
There is also a web page translator in excite that will translate a whole web page for you. You can find it at: http://www.excite.co.jp/world/english/web/
Now I think everyone's favorite may be the Google Toolbar but it is only as good as it gets unless it is the English version toolbar. Try working with the Japanese version and you will see what I mean. Here is a link to get an English (UK) version Google Toolbar for free and fast translation of Japanese web pages: http://toolbar.google.com/T4/intl/en-GB/?rd=f
